I am 52 years old, and I don’t mind saying it. The trick is not to feel 52, and this program gave me the kick start I needed! I’m down 11 pounds since I started 40 days ago!
The program started slowly, but after a week I was more limber and somewhat eager to increase my gains by doing more reps in the allotted time. It also motivated me to start thinking about myself before I started my day worrying about everyone else. I have to say if you don’t do it in the morning you’ll never find the time!
I didn’t pay much attention to what I was eating, (not that I ate terribly, but if I wanted a burrito I had it) but over time I found my body craved certain foods (beets! celery!?) that I incorporated into delicious salads and side dishes. Less was more in the food department and I realized that I didn’t need the moderate-sized portions to feel satisfied.
I began to think of working out like brushing my teeth… I would never start my day without it! The pace was not defeating and the motivational talk videos were planned to know exactly what I was thinking and continue to keep me motivated and driven!
I feel great! Thanks for creating this program. Best of health!

AWESOME 40-day workout!!
The exercises are easy to follow. The videos and follow up emails kept me highly motivated! I enjoyed reading all your articles!
I did definitely tighten and tone-up a bit. Most of all, the program got me out of my COVID-funk!
Q15 was just what I needed to get back on track again!

I can’t thank you enough for this program. It is exactly what I needed for a fitness AND mind/body reboot!
Overall I think the program was great! Not overwhelmed with mental prep and not so little that I felt it was a waste of time.
Since starting the workouts I’ve had a reason to wake up at 5 or 5:30 AM again! Because of that motivation, I tend to go to bed waaaay earlier and not stay up just mindlessly watching tv, social media, etc. My wife even noticed that I was excited to get to bed early just so I could wake up and get a pre-day workout in.
On top of that I found myself naturally drinking less. Some long work days I would want to have a few drinks after the kids went to bed. But if I had to wake up at 5 AM the next day to get my session in before surgeries then I would pass on the drinks and just crash early. On top of all this I am finding myself running more! I went from running 60+ miles/week a few years ago to maybe running 6 miles/week since I didn’t have accountability. With your program I have been running more consistently and sometimes even doing runs on session days.
Now, being a surgeon with unpredictable hours and lots of call, my ability to 100% stick to the program wasn’t ideal. I did all the sessions and “move” days etc, but I just wish I could have been better about the diet. A lot of it is that I am a poor frugal fellow supporting a family of 4 so I take advantage of free hospital food EVERY chance I can get…and as u know free hospital food is RARELY healthy. Regardless I did find myself snacking way less, passing on desserts almost entirely and significantly limiting my night time post-dinner snacks.
Overall I just feel way better in general. I lost some weight, but even more important than the weight loss, I feel better about my mind and body. I start work every day feeling energized and I have that motivation to be better to my body.
I honestly plan to continue this workout routine indefinitely since it’s something I can simply include in my morning routine…and I am slowly trying to incorporate all of the health food tricks too!

Thank you Dr. G! You made this very easy!
The workouts were short…I love that aspect as I work full time and commute.
I think this program can benefit the first time “athlete” or even the maven.
For me the recipes and following the fasting has helped my overall well being, and losing 4 lbs was a plus too! 😀
Thank you for taking time out of your schedule to guide me on this journey!
